Mike, a native of Ashland Massachusetts, always knew he wanted a job driving a truck. As child, he would mow the neighbor’s lawn just because he enjoyed doing it. When he got his driver’s license, he bought a used pickup truck and shortly thereafter, his first commercial mower. While still in high school, Mike upgraded his mower and bought his first new truck.
After graduating from Ashland High School, Mike attended SUNY Cobleskill where he studied Landscape Contracting. During spring vacation in 1999, Mike took a job working for a local landscaping company and immediately fell in love with the work. From that point on, Mike was determined to open his own landscape company. Upon finishing college, Mike established Countryside Landscaping in 2003. He started off with a dump truck and trailer and over the past 15 years has successfully grown his business to feature 4 trucks, 3 plows, a backhoe with a snow pusher, 5 trailers, a mini excavator, numerous lawnmowers, two tractors and much more.
Mike lives in a quaint log cabin in North Grafton Massachusetts with his wife Reema, rescue dog Scruffy, and their many egg-laying chickens and beef cattle.
